CG Construction Services Limited is a general building contracting company established in Trinidad and Tobago. The Company was registered under Chapter 31 of the Companies Ordinance, November 2, 1999 and began operations in January 2000. The Firm’s technical staff has over one hundred and fifty years (150) experience in Project Management / Construction Management and Building Construction.

The Principal Officer of the company is Mr. Christopher Garcia.

Mr. Garcia is a graduate of the University of Florida with a Bachelor’s Degree in Building Construction and has over 30 years of experience in Construction / Project Management.

OSHA National Safety Awards 2009The company is committed to maintaining a Health, Safety, Environmental and Management system to ensure that all its activities conform to the highest standards in keeping with the laws of Trinidad and Tobago.

This Company was recently honoured by being nominated one of three finalists in the Large Company category of the National Safety Awards 2009 by the Trinidad and Tobago Occupational Safety and Health Authority.

Additionally, one of the Company’s employees copped the award for being Health and Safety Individual of the Year for 2009.

Quality Assurance / Quality Control

Quality ControlIn today’s world, the importance of quality in products and/or services provided cannot be overstated. CG Construction Services Limited (CGCSL) through its commitment to maintaining customer satisfaction and attracting new consumers has implemented a Quality Management Plan to control all project activities (engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, etc.). Each project has a unique process and specific quality plan directed towards achieving strategic goals and quality assurance/control objectives.

The Quality Management Plan assures total quality in each and every aspect of a project for which CGCSL has a dedicated team of managers, engineers and quality assurance staff to ensure total client satisfaction.

The Company has developed in its systems quality assurance management procedures, which constantly support the performance of the business. The application of these procedures help the company maintain continuous growth and achieve successful results.

CG Construction Services Limited’s commitment is to deliver to our Clients on time, high quality, cost effective professional construction services in a manner consistent with the highest Health and Safety standards while being sensitive to the Environmental wellness through our team of experienced, well trained and committed staff and in the process, becoming a driving force in the development of the Construction Industry in Trinidad & Tobago and the region.

To fulfill this commitment, the Policy is to maintain a practical but comprehensive Quality System based on Client’s satisfaction and continuous improvements.

This Quality Policy embraces the following key principles:

  • Client’s satisfaction, both external and internal by ensuring that we fully identify and conform to the needs of our Clients
  • Systems and controls shall be preventative and proactively driven by looking at our construction processes, identifying the potential for errors and taking the necessary action to eliminate them
  • Subcontractors and Suppliers are integral to the quality process and Company staff shall work closely with them to meet the Client’s needs
  • Staff shall be encouraged and empowered to participate in quality improvement activities through teamwork and focused task groups
